What I hope to gain from The Chicago Convergence

I think Chicago has such potential to be a leader in the new economy and in new media, however, much of that potential is lost (whether through frustration or migration) because our community is not sufficiently linked and networked. Bringing together this community (including technologists, artists and financing sources) can provide Chicago the punch necessary to make it a hub and a destination for new media entrepreneurs!
