- John Patterson worked for a global leader in the field of training and development managing the Midwest office from 1994-2007. He facilitated leadership and performance programs for over 10,000 people and was accountable for the day to day management one of the largest offices in the enterprise overseeing 45 staff, program leaders and 1500 volunteers over a five state region. John joined Pixel Brothers, a television production company in 2007, as head of business development to break new ground in the media industry. He founded The Chicago Convergence, an annual conference of select presenters and companies powered by a collective of journalists, entrepreneurs and organizations with noteworthy accomplishments in digital technologies, entertainment and design. Welcomed by Mayor Daley, the annual conference is referred to, in documents used to attract international business, as the cities 'new media glue'. He joined FilmNext in 2008 and is active in the management of Hollywood Farms, a Los Angeles based Comedy Production Company. His entrepreneurial focus is in the media industries helping highly compensated individuals and small businesses fulfill their primary personal, performance and financial ambitions.

Chicago resurges with pilot activity Pilots for network shows start shooting in mid-March
That overly long Hollywood dry spell will finally end in early March, with three TV pilots getting underway, a fourth being talked about for early spring, and a Vince Vaughn feature scheduled for May.“Matadors,” from Sony TV and writer/executive producer Jack Orman, has set up production offices at Chicago Studio City in preparation for shooting the first or second week in March.
