About Me:

I own the Chicago-based music label Minty Fresh. Artists I’ve worked with include Cowboy Junkies, Liz Phair, Veruca Salt, and the Cardigans among others. Our bands have been featured on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show and The Late Show With David Letterman, etc. Minty Fresh music is licensed around the world. Previously, I worked as an A&R Director at Geffen. My projects included the Waterboys and the hit compilation for the ABC show Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I also lived in New York as International A&R Director for BMG. I started out as a talent buyer for Jam Productions in Chicago, and before then worked in London after college.

Apple recently used our music for their iconic iPod television campaign and we have placed music in spots for Mitsubishi, Smirnoff, Dentyne Ice, etc. Television shows featuring our music include Grey’s Anatomy, the Sopranos, Six Feet Under, One Tree Hill, the OC… Projects I have been involved in contributing music to include the films: ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery’, ‘Chasing Amy’, ‘Natural Born Killers’, and ‘Sidewalks of New York’.

Following my entry into parenthood I formed an additional imprint, the children’s music label Mini-Fresh, our first project was the Grammy nominated ‘Ralph’s World’ series of CD’s and DVD which was sold to the Walt Disney Company in 2005. Mini-Fresh music has been praised in such diverse quarters as Entertainment Weekly, The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Parenting, Family Fun, The New York Times, National Public Radio’s All Things Considered, CBS Saturday Mornings.

Our first Mini Fresh television series, ‘My Big Shoulders’, is in development.
Minty Fresh music is distributed by Warner/ADA in the States, iTunes throughout the world and others.
