Focused on bringing the film and television world to Chicago, giving all size films and television the chance to work in a high-end facility.

Templar Sounds and Post is Illinois only full post productions and sound studio. We offer films and musicians the ability for high quality post production sound, editing and mixing of which there is none currently available at this level in Chicago.

The scoring room/dubbing stage is a new addition in the Midwest’s film and television field creating the ability to become independent of Hollywood. For Clarification, Dubbing is the final step where a movie's music, special effects sounds, voice overs and picture are all mixed together on our 18 foot THX certified screen in our 1400 sq foot room.

The studio is designed to house multiple projects at the same time, with the ability to edit a minimum of three projects simultaneously while doing ADR (Voice over) and Foley work (sound effects) needed for other films concurrently. The scoring/dubbing stage can hold up to a 40 piece symphony for music scoring for film or as small as individual performers, rock bands and small ensembles’.

Heading up our Producing and Engineering for the musical side is David Z, who’s worked with greats such as Prince, Janet Jackson, Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Etta James, BB King and many more.

Frontsight Productions/Templar Sounds and Post competitive edge is that we offer a multitude of post-production services that are not available under one roof in Chicagoland. Films of all sizes that film in Illinois and surrounding areas must either go to the coasts to complete films and in this we think we've found our niche market by offering a one-stop shop and having a place for film makers to finish their projects while they take advantage of Illinois 30% film tax incentive.
