I am working within the iPhone App space RIGHT NOW. Let me raise my hand and say that yes, we should have an iPhone App and two, I would be happy to lead it. My approach to making this happen would be to develop a write up describing what we want it to do and then we work with a designer and developer to bring it to life. Here is my contact info...please contact me...I am going to get started on a write up (but I will need help identifying the 'right' content.

I know how to do it John, but I need a team of people to work with. I have been learning Nokia WRT but think I can also adapt for Iphone and Symbion simultaneously.

I would like to do something like this Through a Convergence iPhone App.
See the one for TED on iTunes that offers Audio or Video versions of talks. We then marry the community / networking / events feature to it. Who do we know that can make this App? I traded emails with Michael Quintos about this at http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/profile.php?id=530618427

This is the prototype of the Mobile Widget I want to do as a CC Mobile Group Collective Project. This is just the rough Idea. I am thinking GPS, Google Earth API, audio and video Samples. I am making no little plans for this. But I need help to make it happen.

Hugh, I was part of this promotion with Spike and Nokia last October.

I also created a mobile movie for Nokia in 2003 for Nokia UK and the Raindance Film festival

Here's an intriguing article on mobile short films that Kevin Spacey is spearheading. What if we could get him to come to Chicago and tap into our mobile and film industies? We've also got great theater which could be another pull for Spacey. Any ideas? (I'm also posting this with the TV group)
